Welcome to ComefishLa.com!

Louisiana, known to many as the "Sportsman's Paradise", is the home of true world-class sportfishing. The coastal waters off Louisiana are the home of many famous fishing grounds, known by many as: West Delta Block, South Pass Block, The Midnight Lump, Green Canyon, along with Mississippi Canyon (named after the river that created it, NOT our neighboring state).

The Cajun Canyons Billfish Classic 2009 - Our Fifth Annual Tournament - Don't Be Left Out - Come Join The Party!

This will be our Fifth Annual Cajun Canyons Billfish Classic, May 26--May 31, 2009, the weekend after Memorial Day. Hosted by Venice Marina, the Butler brothers are continuing to improve their facility, with new condominiums and more slips, along with a full-service marina store, bar, and grill. Come join the party and help make this our BIGGEST TOURNAMENT TO DATE.

Featuring a modified-release format for billfish species, along with BIG prize money for Blue Marlin, Tag or Release, Dolphin, Tuna, and Wahoo, the Cajun Canyons Billfish Classic will attract tournament participants from the entire Gulf Coast and the nation to south Louisiana. The tournament name stems from the world-famous Mississippi Canyon and Green Canyon, home to true, world-class sportfishing. Do not be left out, get your entry in now!
